Interested in the project "Add UEFI boot options"

Respected Sir/Mam @[tech-install],
I find myself interested in one of your projects (Add UEFI boot options)
which I got to know from the GSoC page (
https://wiki.netbsd.org/projects/project/Add_UEFI_boot_options/). I have
always been interested in operating systems, bios, etc.

This is my first time in the open source field. I am good with C
Programming and also learnt a bit of x86 assembly. I would like to work on
this project under your guidance.
I request you provide me some more information on how and where to start
this project.
