Dear Mentor,

I hope you're doing well. I=E2=80=99m interested in the *UEFI boot configur=
ation
project for NetBSD* as part of GSoC. I find the challenge of *EFI variable
handling, bootloader setup, and system integration* fascinating and would
love to contribute while deepening my understanding of UEFI internals.

I have experience in *systems programming, low-level infrastructure, and OS
internals*, including developing a *custom HTTP server in Rust* and
building a *regex engine*. However, UEFI is a new area for me, and I=E2=80=
=99m
eager to learn under your guidance.

Would this still be a relevant problem to tackle? Also, since I am a
working professional, would flexibility in scheduling be possible? Looking
forward to your thoughts!
