While you're at testing that kernel, please also test

 	http://www.feyrer.de/Misc/landisk-miniroot2.fs.bz2

which includes the above kernel in a bootable disk image. Or at least it 
should do so. As before, dd the .fs to /dev/sd0d (or whatever).
Let me know how far this gets.

Difference to the first miniroot is that this does (should...) contain 
only a kernel with a ramdisk that has all the install tools (sysinst!), 
and it shouldn't touch the disk again once loaded.
