I've just got a long message in my dmesg:

where, obviously, newlines are missing from the UVMHIST output.  I
don't want to go off on a tangent to a tangent to a tangent to
inestigate this, so I'd appreciate if someone familiar with UVMHIST
could kindly take a look.  TIA.
