Thanks, I filed PR port-amd64/59122: `x86 efiboot can't handle >26
partitions' <https://gnats.NetBSD.org/59122> to track this.

The command-line syntax may need extension too.  Not sure what other
issues there might be.

(FYI, I'm filing PRs for these so they get cross-referenced by commits
and we can track status of the fixes in HEAD as well as pullups to
branches (or record a reason why pullup won't happen), and then close
them when everything's addressed.)
