boot -c brings me to the userconf prompt, but it is unhelpfiul
as the keyboard does not work.

Once I am stuck after "swwdog0: software watchdog initilized",
I can get to the root device selection prompt by inserting
a USB key. At that time, keyboard works, and I can reach multiuser.
This is a bit odd.
