status of wifi renewal branch

I've got several WiFi adapters that use the (Free|Open)BSD rsu(4)
driver. This driver is unavailable for NetBSD, but could be ported.

What should I do if I want to add a new WiFi driver? Do I work
on the hg branch, do I ignore the hg branch and just work in
cvs, do I work on both?

Please advise. :-/
