Hello I have been using in-kernel PPPoE for FTTH on NetBSD 9.3 for a while. A few days ago, it ceased to work. Switching to rp-pppoe from pkgsrc worked around the problem, hence I suspect some infrastructure change exposed a NetBSD PPPoE bug. Here are the kernel messages. I also have network packet capture for whoever is interested. pppoe: input for unknown session 0xb8f1, sending PADT pppoe: connected to lac-1.pa3.par.fra pppoe: connected to lac-1.pa3.par.fra pppoe0: received unexpected PADO pppoe: connected to lac-2.brs.par.fra pppoe0: host unique tag found, but it belongs to a connection in state 3 pppoe: received PADO but could not find request for it pppoe: connected to lac-2.brs.par.fra pppoe0: host unique tag found, but it belongs to a connection in state 3 pppoe: received PADO but could not find request for it pppoe: connected to lac-1.pa3.par.fra pppoe: received PADO but could not find request for it pppoe: connected to lac-1.pa3.par.fra pppoe: received PADO but could not find request for it pppoe: connected to lac-2.brs.par.fra pppoe: received PADO but could not find request for it pppoe: connected to lac-2.brs.par.fra pppoe: received PADO but could not find request for it pppoe: input for unknown session 0xc30d, sending PADT -- Emmanuel Dreyfus [email protected]
