That's the third real-world example of non-contiguous IPv4 netmask use
that I'm heard about, in 40 years. (mlelstv and spz met the first
one, too; somebody mentioned the 2nd one when - years ago - we
discussed whether we should leep support for them in NetBSD.)

But we're not discussing NCNM here.

Vendor C applies netmasks to the address in ACLs; actually the
configuration read back has the masked address. I guess a high
percentage of networking engineers worldwide are used to that
behaviour...
