Hi, My bta2dpd program made it into 7.99 and was in the -8 release. It should compile and work on earlier versiohs (however) there were changes made to the pad(4) device by me to support buggy bta2dpd speakers that would have rapid playback that you'd also need and were committed around the time of program. You just might want try you speaker with bta2dpd first to see if you need the audio data to be throttled. Audio data throttling for direct playback of wav files was added a year or two ago to bta2dpd (just before the -10 release) and this version won't need any changes to pad(4).
