The options information is already included in configure output, but I feel this is a bug in supported-options-message. I don't see why it doesn't include the same information that show-options does, and ideally just have a single unified target that displays all the useful information rather than requiring the user go and compare the output against the defaults. I think any improvements to this (and I welcome them) should be done separately as part of work on bsd.options.mk rather than build tools, though once done we can certainly include any new information. In particular I think a single variable that outputs something like: PKG_OPTIONS_CHANGES="+dtrace -doc" that simply shows diffs to defaults would be good, would map naturally to a useful build report column, and could easily be added to the scan index. -- Jonathan Perkin pkgsrc.smartos.org Open Source Complete Cloud www.tritondatacenter.com
