I really wish we could get FreeCAD working via pkgsrc. It uses QT6 and is in wip. FreeCAD 1.1 was just released and is a fabulous 3d cad package. I have created close to 200 3dprint designs using it, mostly to support and enclose the electronics boards, etc. that I design. Unfortunately I am using win11 on a miniPC which I connect to using Remmina (which is a godsend...) so I don't have to use a separate keyboard/mouse and the required monitor apps to set things as I need. I also save all of the files on my NetBSD server so I don't have to rely on the win11 storage. Last year I offered a reward for porting FreeCAD and PlatformIO to pkgsrc. No takers so I started trying to get PlatformIO to work and made some progress but I'm not a programmer and need help porting a package to pkgsrc to continue.
