R fallout

It no longer builds on macOS: https://reports.pkgci.org/Darwin/14.5/arm64/20260516T132839Z/report.html and while it builds on illumos, it breaks a significant number of individual R-* packages due to stricter C requirements (so will likely also break on other platforms with GCC 14+): https://reports.pkgci.org/SmartOS/upstream/trunk/20260517T194506Z/report.html There's also the long-standing issue of these packages performing build operations during the 'install' phase, which goes against pkgsrc policy.
