Sorry, I had in my head that there were much higher 3.x versions, like 3.44. I think I have cmake versions crossed with some thing else. But I still think that if we can remediate main cmake, perhaps just addding a 'cmake-full' metapackage that wraps cmake and curl, it could be enough with far less change.
