EDITOR=jed crontab -e

jed is loaded but then stops with something like "Stopped (tty output)"

Process shows as

22604 pts/0 T    0:00.03 jed /tmp/crontab.R0jw0BNzAK 

Not sure what the exact issue is here, but getting the latest jed snapshot (jed-pre0.99.20-201.tar.gz) from https://www.jedsoft.org/snapshots/ and compiling that works fine (except for adding a !defined(__NetBSD__) in src/pty.c where there already is a !defined(__FreeBSD__))
