Tests require installation

Hi all,

The package i am working on (wip/edoc), requires installation before the
tests can be run. As I understand it, the normal test procedure for
pkgsrc expects to run the tests from within the build directory before
installation. For this project, it is a HUGE task to modify the tests so
that they use binaries from the build directory before they are
installed instead of using installed binaries.

Is there any way i can get pkgsrc to run the test phase after the
install phase and to have it make use of installed binaries?

Obviously the test phase would also fail to work when used with a
DESTDIR install so i may have to specifically check for and omit this
case somehow too.
