Hello all,

considering the fact that the initial request was to introduce it as a
separate package anyway, I cannot really understand the fuss made about
this.

My oppinion is to import it and be done with it. Whoever dislikes the
470-versions for whatever reasons is free to keep using sysutils/mc .
There are quite many packages maintained this way in pkgsrc.
