The error looked lik these:
  i810_driver.c:224:37: error: 'RES_SHARED_VGA' undeclared here (not in a function)
  i810_driver.c:255:16: error: 'RES_UNDEFINED' undeclared here (not in a function)
  i810_driver.c: In function 'I810PreInit':

So I've looked at git repostory and did following commands, 
and at least packages fine (with manual intervention).
this is just a FYI typo post...

 git log NEWS |less
 git checkout e4cd9de2933ada3e2a4b43552729ae3a370128bf

(on Machine B)
  cd /usr/pkgsrc/wip
  rm -rf  xf86-video-intel-old
  cvs update -dPA xf86-video-intel-old
  cd xf86-video-intel-old
  make patch
  (cd work/xf86-video-intel-2.7.1/; patch -s -p0 <  /tmp/diff-x86-video-intel-old)
  make package
  make package-install

The patch mentioned above, say, jumbo patch :-) is also placed at
  http://www.ki.nu/~makoto/pkgsrc/wip/xf86-video-intel-old

  MD5 (diff-x86-video-intel-old) = 4dcd74038d33d07863343173971e5cf6

I will split the patch into file-by-file if I have time.
