Hi,

DCC detects bulk messages and can be compared to razor or pyzor. It
offers three client interfaces (dccproc, dccifd, dccm) and one server
daemon (dccd) which can be connected to the local/global DCC-network.

The use of DCC is somewhat restricted and you are not allowed to use the
public DCC-servers if you sell spam filtering services. Please make sure
you've read and accepted the license (make show-license) before you
deploy the package.

The package is in pkgsrc/doc/TODO since Wed Jan 30 02:40:44 2008 UTC:

	DCC [pkg/29619]
	http://www.rhyolite.com/anti-spam/dcc/
	Distributed Checksum Clearinghouse [pkg/29619]

The PR above deals with dcc-1.2.71 so I wrote the package from scratch.
It supports three build options (dccd, dccifd, dccm) and provides three
rc-scripts for NetBSD (dccd.sh, dccifd.sh, dccm.sh).

The following things are on my TODO-list:

	updatedcc
	---------
While Vernon Schryver (the author of DCC) doesn't like
packages, he dislikes outdated packages even more. That's
why it would be nice if one could update the package with
libexec/updatedcc (doesn't seem to work ATM).

	dcc.sh
	------
rc-script which would pass all commands to the other dcc*
rc-scripts. Like the one in sysutils/bacula.

	grey.sh
	-------
I saw this in FreeBSD/ports/dcc-dccd/files but I'm not
sure how necessary it is, since the greylisting-DB is
	part of dccd.

Sorry for the long mail and thanks again to Thomas, Hauke and Jukka for
the cleanup-work after my glorious first import. :)

Petar
