Chicken-current review and commit request

Hello all,

I have updated wip/chicken-current to match the latest release of
Chicken, version 4.1.0

I would appreciate it if someone could have a look at it and update
lang/chicken with it.  Chicken 4 is backwardly incompatible with
Chicken 3, so probably we want to keep the old chicken around as
chicken3 until all "eggs" (extension libraries) have been ported to
the new version.
