Packages fine for me on NetBSD-5.99.18/amd64. How can I test if it
works?

I think it might be better to set CFLAGS.SunOS and LDFLAGS.SunOS
instead of adding a separate patch-ab and build target. Could you
please try that?

Otherwise this looks fine to me.
