The current munin packages in sysutils/ are based on an old development release and have trouble out of the box on DragonFly and FreeBSD systems (mainly PLIST issues, but also sometimes broken plugins). I am attempting to upgrade them to the latest stable version, 1.4.5. munin-common is a supporting package containing the common components used by munin-master and munin-node. Of the three munin packages currently in wip/ , it is the oldest and the most complete. It may be considered as a special purpose Perl module.
