with the changes attached, I have been able to build and install ECL 0.9h
(Embeddable Common Lisp) on NetBSD 2.0.2, i386.  Previous versions of ECL
built and ran correctly on alpha as well, but I couldn't test it there.

How do I get wip/ecl updated?
