i had an smp 1.5ZC kernel running for months without a single problem. i `cvs update -rsommerfeld_i386mp_1`'d in /usr/src/sys/arch/i386 and compiled the GENERIC.MP kernel with a few modifications (options GATEWAY, etc...). i believe that currently this branch doesn't compile with -current (please correct me if i'm wrong here) but bill sommerfeld sent out some patches which fix this and allow for compliation. a quick search of the tech-smp@ archives should get them for you. --joe On 07/19/02 10:30:49, "D.J.
