ISTR what is left of apm is a compatibility shim on top of ACPI. This leaves machines like my Thinkpad T23 out in the cold, because the=20 original apm subsystem has been ripped out (partly), and their ACPI=20 support is not new enough to be supported. Result is no power=20 management at all, which is annoying for a notebook. Cheerio, Hauke --=20 Hauke Fath <[email protected]> Linn=E9weg 7 64342 Seeheim-Jugenheim Germany
