My next problem is that I cannot access DDB. I can see that it is configured in my kernel (GENERIC) but Ctrl-Alt-Esc doesn't activate it. I have tried setting xdm=NO and wscons=NO with no change. I have a USB keyboard and my motherboard doesn't have a PS/2 port. I've also tried booting with the keyboard in a USB 2 port with no luck. The motherboard does have a virtual USB keyboard and mouse for remote console use, but entering Ctrl-Alt-Esc there didn't work either. I do have com0 and com1 and I can use a real or IPMI serial console if I have to. Is that what I'm going to have to do? Ngā mihi, Lloyd
