Thanks very much. So I know, it is me and I am still missing something. 
I do not have any packet filter active. And using vioif0 directly works 
also - contrary to vbox, but that is not relevant here.

Just the vlan interface on top of it does not. And the man page to 
vlan(4) does not mention the virtio driver, so I was bit unsure. But 
know I at least know, it sould work.

I am also using vm-bhyve on FBSD15 with a vlanfiltered bridge. And if 
NetBSD10 works, 11 will also. I highly doubt that to be the issue.
