how to use linux emul apps which appear to want libasound?

gflashplayer, the flash 9 player for linux runs, but runs silently.

ktruss showed it attempting opens on libasound.so[.x]

I'm pretty sure this is just not part of NetBSD linux emul, but I am
wondering what else might tickle this tool into doing audio. -it works
fine on the graphics, but silently.
