HELP w/SATA addon controller

Running 3.0.1 and 3.1

I've had two SATA drives land in my lap.  The system I'd like to
add them into doesn't have any SATA capability.  Looking at the 
SATA support I don't see any controllers that are supported that
make financial sense for the system.  I'm wondering if the there
are addon SATA cards that don't need special support if I'm not 
going to use the RAID functionality? 

I'm looking for a simple 2 port card that works with NetBSD.
I'm hoping someone can recommend some brand name models (I have
a hard time figuring out what chips are in some of these products).
