Yes, this is the right list if you need help with configuration or 
setting up things.

The rule-of-thumb is to use the "best fitting" list. So if you have 
questions about the documentation or about the use of pkgsrc, it's 
better to ask directly on the specific [email protected]  or 
[email protected] mailing list.

And don't fear to make mistakes, nobody will bite you ;-)  Just ask 
where you think the question is most appropriate.
