Removing /dev/beep

If I were to kill the "beep" device, would anyone care? As far as I can see, its only benefit is that it's smaller than audiobell+audio+vidcaudio. It also has a device interface at /dev/beep, but it's not like that behaves as "documented" or anything. I think people who really want small kernels aren't really going to want to spend 5 KB on a console bell anyway.
