Thanks very much for answering and your time to actually look at the code! Yes, I've thought this might be a good (and slightly atypical) way to offload iscsi, but an ordinary intel nic has to do now, after confirmation. And I am not even shure, wether the other side of the ethernet cable could be a classical etnernet card or needs to be special as well. So I'll pass on this one.
