Hi Jason, Just checked mine which was successfully booted with some previous snapshot but now fails at the same place as Nigel's. Here is a boot log of the last known snapshot: https://dmesgd.nycbug.org/index.cgi?do=view&id=6187 Now the recent kernel finds something at eisa1 so there could be some changes between 9.99.87 and the recent one in handling eisa? I don't really care if it makes it incompatible with VMS, since I am only keeping that to have something that I know boots! > If you can configure the SCSI controller to have a LEVEL-trigger IRQ, then that will work around the bug in the “ahb” driver that is causing the interrupt storm that hangs the machine. > > -- thorpej >
