LeeLoo Dallas "Multi-Pass" buddaboom line 5053 sys/dev/ic/isp/isp.c

Time for a new thread that I can possibly keep track of.

I has been at least a month since my DEC AlphaStation 600 landed and it 
mostly just works. Mostly. I still get a mouse error at boot time. 
Nothing to get worked up about.

The machine only had 128MB of memory upon arrival and that would allow 
me to test a few things. Very few. With NetBSD on the top of my list.
To my surprise OpenBSD boots and runs fine wereas NetBSD has a buddaboom
in the ISP SCSI driver. All of this has been discussed :

The code problem seems to be an exception condition or unhandled SCSI
condition which results in the LeeLoo Dallas "Multi-Pass" buddaboom!

Jason Thorpe has the situation well in hand and he knows where all the 
bodies are buried. The unhandled and "unexpected" 0x09 (“RQSTYPE_A64”) :

Moving onwards there may exist a Release Candidate CDROM image however
my amazing network refuses to go anywhere near the web server named in
the email post. I suspect a new RC CDROM image may be needed in anycase.

Some good news is that the memory for the DEC Alpha finally arrived :

Today I will try to get all the memory installed and run a few tests.
Also, maybe, install another Symbios Logic type SCSI controller which
also provides a 100Mbit network port.
