Thanks for letting me try NetBSD on my DEC Alpha however it is clear there are SCSI driver problems and I don't see that getting any better this year. There has been some discussion and efforts last month but the process seems to have died. For now the machine will run OpenBSD with both of the Symbios Logic controllers and dual ethernet and a even a 4mm DAT tape drive. All of that has been tested by me. I have not tried any Linux variant. I will not look at NetBSD any further and perhaps some year the SCSI driver issues may pop up again. Seems I am the only person affected by this anyways. So long and thanks for all the fish. -- -- Dennis Clarke RISC-V/SPARC/PPC/ARM/CISC UNIX and Linux spoken
