The VM-limit per process is the main problem for all(?) m68k ports. I remember we already discussed that years ago on this list, and somebody (mlelstv?) mentioned that we cannot increase it any further without getting rid of SunOS emulation, because a huge part of the address space is reserved for it. But I don't remember the details and couldn't even locate the responsible source now. If this is the only reason, and all m68k port maintainers agree, I would happily sacrifice SunOS emulation support. -- Frank Wille
