Bob, This was the trick. The 4x36 simms I have worked fine. The machine was set for 2 8MB simms, while I had 4 4MB simms. Explains why it failed to post after exactly 4MB (it looking for another 4mb). Thanks again, Strange to see the machine boot into WINNT 3.1.. Ahhh Program Manager....
