That's a good idea. I can think of a few offhand and I'm sure other
people will be able to alternative points of view that will help fill
out a modest roster of canaries.

That's why I want to get the dts files output in a simplified and
reliable manner. I have a little bit of experience with ANTLR and so
I'm interested in writing a tool that does some sort of smart diff of
device trees.
