An axen(4) device plugged in to the USB-C port of my Pinebook Pro at
power up does work, I get 57 MiB/s downloading a large file onto the
nvme drive using ftp(1).

Not sure what you mean here, the GPU will be powered down until a
driver powers it up.

I can commit the GPU clocks after adding the USB-C stuff but it doesn't
really help without the rest of the GPU driver.
