I've got a OrangePi5 Plus (not Max) that's been running NetBSD 10-stable for several months. I haven't done much with it, though. As I recall, I had a bit of a struggle with a buggy early EDK2, but NetBSD, once loaded, just worked. I've recently installed version orangepi-5plus_UEFI_Release_v1.1.img and that seems to make booting easier. I had to use Ubuntu to install it because NetBSD doesn't support the eMMC. NetBSD also doesn't seem to support any audio, neither HDMI nor the 8338, so no Youtube. -- Ted Spradley <[email protected]>
