I found issues with thefirmware for the rpi zero-2-w a couple of years
back and messed around with the wifi firmware images for the rpi-3b. I
got it to work, but it was flaky.

Having switched to the arm64 version on NetBSD-current I had another
look in this area and found these images on one of the linux sites:

brcmfmac43436-sdio.raspberrypi,model-zero-2-w.bin (413934 bytes)
brcmfmac43436-sdio.raspberrypi,model-zero-2-w.clm_blob (11209 bytes)
brcmfmac43436-sdio.raspberrypi,model-zero-2-w.txt (1611 bytes)

The board firmware loader expects the filenames to be different so I 
hard linked the 3 files to:

brcmfmac43430b0-sdio.raspberrypi,model-zero-2-w.bin
brcmfmac43430b0-sdio.raspberrypi,model-zero-2-w.clm_blob
brcmfmac43430b0-sdio.raspberrypi,model-zero-2-w.txt

With that done the wifi comes up OK and seems stable under light loads:

ftping large files (~20Mb) seems to provoke a few error messages, but
the transfer generally completes OK. 

I think the quality of the built-in wifi is suspect as I have seen
moans about it on linux sites, so it may be better to rely on a
external usb wifi device.
