They were manufactured by Rebel.com.  They went belly up last year, but I think they'd stopped making the Netwinder by that point anyway.

Basic specs were something like:

275MHz SA110
32-128 MB Ram
10G Disk (2.5in)
Parallel/Serial port
1x100/10BaseT + 1x10BaseT Ethernet (ideal as a firewall machine).
Builtin SVGA graphics.
