Well, I was just doing the very simple reflection that G0 is not really 
any different than G1, G2 or G3, so why not just do this the same way 
for all. It seems like almost more simple than what you were doing.

But I suspect for the most basic need, what you do will suffice. I just 
felt that doing it more properly was so cheap here, that it felt that 
"why not".

But it's hardly a show-stopping comment.
