Is it worth while jamming a multimeter or two across the +5 and +12v lines on the hard drive with it open, then with a fan on and a fan off run your data test? Of note, if your running via ssh, your really smashing the CPU and to a lesser extent with the crypto, the FPU so the current draw would increase significantly and as someone else pointed out, perhaps it's just enough to trip undervoltage for memory or something? Also, lots of bus activity can hve a fair bit of CPU time dedicated to servicing interrupts and this again will change your current draw. Quite weird! :> -- -- Al Boyanich adb -w -P "world> " -k /dev/meta/galaxy/ksyms /dev/god/brain
