longer than I'd hoped, so I read the mail I'm replying to out of the
archive, which doesn't show the relevant headers.)

Good question; I haven't tried doing the link manually with changes.  I
don't really have the time to experiment right now, but I should within
a day or two - I'll report back here once I've probed the envelope a
little more, testing that in particular.

I'll also check to see if anything else showed the same symptom.
