HP 9000/332 support?

It’s unclear to me from the materials online whether the hp300 port really doesn’t support the 332, or whether support for the 332 is contingent upon installing an FPU. If I install an FPU in my 332, will it work? Or is the 332 different enough that the port still doesn’t support it? -- Chris
