Re: HP 9000/332 support?

It turns out that an HP 9000/332 will be identified by NetBSD as a =
9000/340 and can boot with 8MB. Unfortunately with so little memory and =
no attached HP-IB or SCSI disk, such a system will take literally all =
day to boot, and MUST have /etc/rc modified to swap to a file on the =
network-mounted / in order to make it through /etc/rc.

Another issue I=E2=80=99ve noticed is that the HP 98343A video card is =
recognized as 1024x400@4bpp instead of 512x400@4bpp, so upon switch from =
the secondary booter to the kernel, wscons text is compressed and =
difficult to read. It might be necessary to special-case the 98343A for =
this if its ROM is returning the wrong data.
