There was an other problem mentioned in a side note on tech-kern today. hppa is still in pre-LWP stage: http://mail-index.netbsd.org/tech-kern/2003/08/24/0009.html --- Subject: non-executable mappings From: Chuck Silvers <[email protected]> [...] several ports still need work done to support this: amd64 hppa sh5. of these, I only have the hardware for hppa, but the port is currently languishing in the pre-LWP era, so it doesn't build. I'm looking into reviving it, but that will likely take a fair bit of work. --- This LWP stuff exceeds my current knowledge by far, so working tools would not be of big help for me. But I am still willing to help. (I am somwhat on a dead end with the PPC machine due to magicly non-working PCI-DMA. :-( ) -- tschüÃ, Jochen Homepage: http://www.unixag-kl.fh-kl.de/~jkunz/
