Hi! Despite the fact that you have already one answer from a 712/60, I am posting my own because I use more that 32MB of RAM. With the old snapshot (IIRC) it was an issue now the problem seems to have gone! Best regards, G. Ardelean P.S. here is the output of dmesg on that station: NetBSD 1.6ZE (SMALL) #13: Tue Nov 4 12:10:33 CET 2003 jkunz@SirTobie:/usr/src-current/objdir/hp700/sys/arch/hp700/compile/SMALL HP9000/712/60 (Gecko) real mem = 81920 KB (73728 reserved for PROM, 73036 KB used by NetBSD) avail mem = 67304 KB using 1049 buffers containing 4196 KB of memory mainbus0 (root) [flex fff80000] pdc0 at mainbus0 cpu0 at mainbus0 hpa 0xfffbe000 path 8 irq 31 ipl 0: PA7100LC (Hummingbird) rev 5 cpu0: PCX-L, PA-RISC 1.1c, lev 1, cat A, 60 MHz clk cpu0: shadows, 32K/32K D/I caches, 64 shared TLB, 8 shared BTLB cpu0: PCX-L (CMOS-26B) floating point, rev 1 mem0 at mainbus0 hpa 0xfffbf000 path 9: viper rev 0, ctrl 40400102<eisa_prf> size 80MB "GIO Graphics" at mainbus0 (type 0xa, sv 0x85) hpa 0xf8000000 path 1 not configured lasi0 at mainbus0 hpa 0xf0000000 path 2 irq 28: rev 3.0 gsc0 at lasi0 osiop0 at gsc0 hpa 0xf0106000 path 2/1 irq 9 ipl 1: NCR53C710 rev 2, 40MHz, SCSI ID 7 scsibus0 at osiop0: 8 targets, 8 luns per target ie0 at gsc0 hpa 0xf0107000 path 2/2 irq 8 ipl 2: v1.0 address 08:00:09:3c:7d:66, type LASI/i82596CA "Core RS-232C" at gsc0 (type 0xa, sv 0x8c) hpa 0xf0105000 path 2/4 not configured lpt0 at gsc0 hpa 0xf0102000 path 2/6 irq 7 ipl 3 "Advanced audio (ext.)" at gsc0 (type 0xa, sv 0x7b) hpa 0xf0104000 path 2/8 not configured "floppy controller" at gsc0 (type 0xa, sv 0x83) hpa 0xf010a000 path 2/10 not configured "PS/2 port" at gsc0 (type 0xa, sv 0x84) hpa 0xf0108000 path 2/11 not configured "PS/2 port" at gsc0 (type 0xa, sv 0x84) hpa 0xf0108100 path 2/12 not configured biomask 00000032 netmask 00000036 ttymask 0000007e scsibus0: waiting 2 seconds for devices to settle... sd0 at scsibus0 target 6 lun 0: <SEAGATE, ST31200N, 9418> disk fixed sd0: 1006 MB, 2700 cyl, 9 head, 84 sec, 512 bytes/sect x 2061108 sectors sd0: sync (100.00ns offset 8), 8-bit (10.000MB/s) transfers boot device: ie0 root on ie0 nfs_boot: trying DHCP/BOOTP nfs_boot: DHCP next-server: 192.168.1.2 nfs_boot: my_name=gecko nfs_boot: my_domain=example.com nfs_boot: my_addr=192.168.1.1 nfs_boot: my_mask=255.255.255.0 nfs_boot: gateway=192.168.1.2 root on 192.168.1.2:/home/hp700-NetBSD/ WARNING: clock lost 36050 days -- CHECK AND RESET THE DATE! root file system type: nfs ie0: receive descriptors out of sync at 36 ie0: reset ie0: receive descriptors out of sync at 7 ie0: reset ie0: receive descriptors out of sync at 26 ie0: reset ie0: receive descriptors out of sync at 58 ie0: reset ie0: receive descriptors out of sync at 74 ie0: reset ie0: receive descriptors out of sync at 47 ie0: reset ie0: receive descriptors out of sync at 31 ie0: reset ie0: receive descriptors out of sync at 50 ie0: reset ie0: receive descriptors out of sync at 47 ie0: reset ie0: receive descriptors out of sync at 74 ie0: reset ie0: receive descriptors out of sync at 29 ie0: reset ie0: receive descriptors out of sync at 29 ie0: reset ie0: receive descriptors out of sync at 21 ie0: reset ie0: receive descriptors out of sync at 34 ie0: reset #
