Once I got somthing I had to notice that the dynamic linker is broken. The static binaries from /rescue work. The hp700/hppa toolchain still has some bugs. (Compiling on a 64 bit machine or with "-On" where n > 0 will trigger compiler bugs.) But it is easy to work around this. I don't have time to care about the toolchain and the userland. I have to leave it up to other volunteers to take care of this topics. Simply try to do a "build.sh -m hp700 release" and you will see. You even don't need hp700 hardware. It would be a good start to have "build.sh -m hp700 release" succeed, even when the resuling binaries don't work.
